In the article, "Tornado Kills at Least 98 in Eastern China", Javier C. Hernandez discusses how a massive tornado swept over Yancheng, China. It was a crazy tornado that showed up out of nowhere in the middle of a storm. It was all of a sudden, the president was trying to save as many as possible, but the casualty numbers were large. At least 98 were killed while 800 other were wounded. This was a very depressing moment in the China population this year.
I believe this is a serious environmental issue considering how many casualties there were. Tornadoes are very dangerous, a lot of land along with the buildings get destroyed, the rivers and lakes get severely polluted, and people get injured. The result from a tornado is very horrible and can ruin our environment. Therefore, I believe that tornadoes are an important environmental issue. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/24/world/asia/tornado-yancheng-china.html?rref=collection%2Ftimestopic%2FTornadoes&action=click&contentCollection=science®ion=stream&module=stream_unit&version=latest&contentPlacement=1&pgtype=collection&_r=0
