In the article, "In Siberia, a "Blood River" in a Dead Zone Twice the Size of Rhode Island", Andrew E. Kramer talks about how a river in the far north side of Siberia turns bright red due to what could possibly be industrial waste. After some investigating, people have conquered that a metallurgical plant might be the cause of this actually. The pollution of the water makes it dangerous for not only the people to go near it, but the fish that live in it as well. It could also damage the arctic environment around it as well. The plant lowers its outage of pollution and the result of the water is no different than usual.
I believe this water pollution is a serious environmental issue. Water pollution effects a lot of stuff in our environment. It puts practically most things in danger such as, the animals in the water, the people and the environment. Its leads to a lot of dangers. Therefore, i believe that this a serious environmental issue. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/09/world/europe/russia-red-river-siberia-norilsk-nickel.html?_r=0
