In the article," Gulf States Get $370M in Oil Spill Funds to Restore Wetlands", The associated press discusses how five gulf states get $370 million to clean up the 2010 oil spill that they have been trying to create new wetlands, and restore fisheries. The states that got the money split up between them are Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and Texas. They each all do a part in this project. Louisiana does the engineering and design of two major projects concerning the Mississippi River. All the rest of the states also help clean up the coastline and restore the fisheries and such. People have been encouraged of this.
I believe this to be important environmental information. This shows an excellent example of how people can contribute to the world to keep it in a safe zone. This saves a lot of species, and improves the land. Therefore, i believe this is some good news and serious environmental information. http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2016/11/15/us/ap-us-oil-spill-money-gulf-states.html?rref=collection%2Ftimestopic%2FOil%20Spills&action=click&contentCollection=timestopics®ion=stream&module=stream_unit&version=latest&contentPlacement=1&pgtype=collection&_r=0
